Friday, June 11, 9 p.m. The twelfth edition of Centrale Festival, a series of events on photography and contemporary art, opens at the Rocca Malatestiana in Fano. Conversations with artists, book presentations, exhibition of photographic and video art works, more than fifty authors involved from Italy and abroad. All exhibitions are free admission with guided tours until June 27, 2021.
The exhibition projects chosen from more than 100 Under 30 applications were viewed by Laura Davì (independent photo editor and journalist), Maurizio Finotto (filmmaker, artist and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna), Federica Fiumelli (independent curator, journalist and social media manager), Arianna Sollazzo (independent curator co-founder of Invertebre), Gabriele Tosi (independent curator, co-directs LocaleDue space).
The selection resulted in five exhibitions curated directly by committee members, featuring the works of 20 artists from every region of Italy and abroad.

All exhibitions are free admission with guided tours until June 27, 2021. Cecilia Del Gatto exhibits “Can’t Help Falling in Love” at the exhibition “A Moveable Identity” curated by Federica Fiumelli.
In the same festival he also presents the project “Méscita” included in the exhibition “Wine. Beyond Objects,” created in collaboration with the Zenato winery.
FRIDAY, JUNE 11
9:00 p.m. Opening of the twelfth edition of Centrale Festival, greetings of the authorities and Marcello Sparaventi President of the association “Centrale Fotografia”.
– Presentation by artistic director Luca Panaro and panel discussion with members of the selection committee of the five “Open Call” exhibitions: Laura Davì, Maurizio Finotto, Federica Fiumelli, Arianna Sollazzo, Gabriele Tosi.
– Opening of all exhibitions set up at Rocca Malatestiana, in the presence of the respective artists and curators.
