The 10th edition of the Combat Prize is approaching, which will run in Livorno between the Granaries of Villa Mimbelli, home of the temporary exhibitions of the Giovanni Fattori Civic Museum, the Sala degli Archi of the New Fortress and the headquarters of the SAC Spazio Arte Contemporanea Association (Via Luigi Boccherini, 22), from June 22 to July 13.
Here is the list of 80 finalists for Combat 2019 and the list of recommended artists to be published in the catalog.
The selections were made by: Andrea Bruciati (director of Villa Adriana and Villa D’Este, Tivoli, Rome), Daniele De Luigi (curator of Galleria Civica di Modena – Fondazione Modena Arti Visive), Francesca Baboni (critic and independent curator), Lorenzo Balbi (director of MAMbo, Museo d’Arte Moderna, Bologna), Matteo Bergamini (journalist and art critic is editor in chief of Exibart magazine), Paola Tognon (scientific director of Museo della Città – Luogo Pio Arte Contemporanea and Museo civico Giovanni Fattori – Livorno) and Stefano Taddei (critic and independent curator).

On Nov. 25, 2022, “Emilio” and “Umi Hotaru,” another work by the artist, will end up on display at the Palazzo
Martinengo (Brescia) along with those of the winners of the other competing sections.
Cecilia Del Gatto will receive in 2023 as a prize a period of residence in the “House of Artists” in Milan to continue her activity.
